RAILWAY SAFETY

Dear Parents and Carers,

Due to recent incidents of trespassing on the railway near our school, we urgently need you to please share the relevant FREE 15 minute safety video with your children who can watch it at home. The video has been shared in school so they should be familiar with it. Please use this as a talking point to have a railway safety talk with your children.

Over 20 million students, parents and teachers from across the UK have already watched these videos which has led to a significant decrease in the number of fatalities and injuries in their area through watching the rail safety videos.

‘The tragic death of  a boy called Harrison in 2017, when he was in Year 7 at Guilsborough Academy, brought the importance of teaching our children about safety on the railways.
